The Pop Star Embraces a Twisted Persona of Herself in Mockumentary Teaser
The celebrated musician is preparing for a substantial film onslaught in 2026, kicking off with the mockumentary titled The Moment.
Within the project, the artist portrays what she calls as a twisted version of her public image.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the entertainment world that I’ve ever witnessed, the star commented.
She further explained in an interview: It’s not a tour documentary, however the inspiration came from the expectation to make one.
A Sneak Peek into The Film
The first teaser, unveiled on this week, blends actual recordings from her recent tour with imagined behind-the-scenes moments.
The Moment is directed and co-written by Aidan Zamiri, who revealed that the plot revolves around a scenario where the artist made entirely different choices during the marketing of her smash hit album Brat.

A Packed Film Calendar
The mockumentary is only one of many future movie projects for Charli, who already appeared in three festival films in the current year.

Furthermore played herself in the comedy series Overcompensating.
Future Ventures
The coming year will also see Charli alongside Olivia Wilde in romantic thriller I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in creative industry mystery The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in horror remake Faces of Death.
She also joined to feature in Dakota Johnson’s directorial debut A Tree in Blue.
I am really enjoying my foray into acting, the performer stated. I’m incredibly motivated right now in this area, and I always choose to take on roles that stimulate me.

The month of February will also bring the debut of Emerald Fennell’s interpretation of Wuthering Heights, which will showcase original songs from the artist.
Additionally, she will provide music for the film Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, planned for launch in the coming year.
The mockumentary is scheduled to debut on the 30th of January.
