Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
